Learn the art of naturalistic flower arranging in this intensive course. This course is eight days in total and has been designed to cover an extensive range of practical and theory sessions. If your schedule only allows for attending the first or second week we are happy to accommodate this and have a limited number of spaces available for attending each week separately.
Week One (Tuesday 15 September - Friday 18 September)
Conditioning garden flowers
Small tea bowl with chicken wire (shape theory)
Hand vase bouquet (form theory)
Ikebana-style arrangement with pinholder (space theory)
Photography session - lighting
Garden border arrangements (line theory)
Staircase installation
Week Two (Tuesday 22 September - Friday 25 September)
Tablescape design (colour theory)
Social media and marketing
Dutch Masters style arrangement (tone theory)
Photography session - setting
Arch installation (texture theory)
Creative free style session
Teas/coffees are provided each day, as are the use of snips, aprons, flowers and mechanics. We stock a small range of our own brand ceramics and Japanese tools at the studio.
10am to 3.30pm with a short break for lunch
Pay in full or reserve your place with a £500 deposit
Remaining balance is due 8 weeks before workshop
