For the last decade we have had the privilege of bringing people together from all over the world, from ten to eighty years of age, making flower arrangements and witnessing the joy this brings. Our workshops are for anyone who loves flowers, from beginners and those exploring a new artistic medium to seasoned arrangers, gardeners and cut flower growers.

We teach the core skills required to create a range of naturalistic arrangements. You will have the opportunity to experience the beauty and variety of garden flowers through their organic forms, textures and colours, to learn about the plants our flowers come from and to reject hierarchy, making arrangements with everything from buttercups to peonies. Whenever you choose to join us, you will be surrounded by extraordinary natural materials - blossoming and decadent, wild and weedy, edible, medicinal and scented.

Q&A and book signing
In August 2026 we’ll be travelling to New York and heading north to the Hudson Valley, hosting two flower arranging workshops and lunches on 20 and 21 August 2026 at the historic Stissing House in Pine Plains. Built in 1782, Stissing House is one of the oldest taverns in America and has played host to feasts for generations. In 2022, Clare de Boer took over as chef/proprietor.
“Like many transplants to the region, the English-born de Boer is struck by the Hudson Valley’s seasons. ‘You feel the intensity here—everywhere else is seasonal-light, but here you get spring whiplash, summer intensity, all-consuming fall, and then, hibernation.’ The menu is a dynamic reflection of those natural cycles.” Chronogram
Starting with tea, coffee and a country breakfast we’ll be kicking off with an introductory talk followed by a seasonal bouquet demonstration and arranging session using late summer materials gathered from the local area. After a delicious Stissing House feast we’ll re-group for a further demonstration and practical session, creating naturalistic arrangements that speak of the season and surroundings. Each guest will leave with a signed copy of our book, a beautiful bespoke vase and their flowers.
