In our bouquet classes we focus on how to create well proportioned and intricately layered bouquets using garden-grown ingredients. Students explore the mechanics of how to create structure and shape in a hand-tied bouquet, we discuss colour theory, balancing nuanced and complementary tones, proportion and how to add texture and interest.

I loved everything about the day; your illuminating demonstrations, the passion felt and passed on for the flowers, the calm and ordered atmosphere of your delightful studio with dreamy music playing in the background and the gentle support of your girls quietly but effectively working alongside to make transitions seamless. Lunch outside in early summer sunshine was delicious. It was without a doubt the best birthday present ever. Thank you both so much, what a team.

Agnes, Poland | Spring Fling workshop | April 2018
We teach a variety of styles of table arrangement, from low footed bowls to tablescapes of clustered mixed-height vessels and long, linear runners of flowers and fruit for banqueting tables. We cover the mechanics of using chicken-wire and a kenzan, or ‘flower frog’, incorporating small, sculptural branches for shape and layering blowsy face flowers and whimsical gestural stems for designs brimming with scent, colour and texture.

I wanted to thank you both so much for the wonderful few days spent at your studio for the workshop. I've had a few days away which has allowed me to reflect on everything I learnt and discovered with you. I feel very inspired by your ethos, approach and style in floral design. Your attention to every detail was beautiful. I really felt I could tune into your vision and understand how you were both seeing, imagining and making each creation. Thank you for such a welcoming, generous and friendly experience.

Our installations are all created without the use of floral foam, which contains numerous toxic substances and is non-biodegradable. However it is still possible to create majestic, highly impactful displays by using bespoke frames, fashioning chicken wire shapes for structure and disguising hidden water sources for your fresh materials in the forms of jars, bottles and recycled vials. We encourage students to think innovatively about dressing a space, whether it be a leafy ceremony arch, a circular backdrop or hanging flower cloud.
