Season of Mists Workshop

Taking inspiration from To Autumn by John Keats, our workshop will focus on the design and creation of large-scale arrangements, using seasonal British flowers and foliage to encapsulate the bountiful fruitfulness of this smoky season. Branches of flaming leaves, leggy dahlias, crabapples and berries, Japanese anemones and speckled hydrangea; we will demonstrate how to create a branchy asymmetric floral urn that captures the essence of autumn, cascading with colour and texture. We will guide you through designing and making your own creation, covering the mechanics of large-scale arrangement (using chicken wire, not floral foam) in addition to selection of ingredients, form, scale, setting and colour.

10am to 3pm. This class will be held at our Shepherd's Bush studio. We will be keeping this class small and intimate, so places are very limited.

Includes all materials, a seasonal lunch and high resolution images of your work.
