We run a limited number of intensive design workshops at our studio in West London. Each workshop celebrates the finest materials of the season, many grown and foraged at our cutting garden in the Hampshire countryside. These workshops are designed to give students a truly intensive creative experience as well as hands-on practical lessons on how to create floral designs for events and weddings in a naturalistic style without restrictive rules.

Using the finest autumnal flowers, branches and foliage, students will learn how to compose loose, romantic bridal bouquets, create centrepiece arrangements, and how to build larger-scale designs including urns and floral installations.

This workshop is open to all levels, from beginners at the start of their floral journey to seasoned florists and arrangers looking to rejuvenate their wedding and event work with a new philosophy or style. In relaxed, open group discussions we will explore the nitty gritty of wedding and event design and logistics, the challenges and advantages of using own-grown and locally sourced materials, and how to work with the seasons.

We will finish each session by demonstrating how to style your finished piece for an atmospheric series of photographs. Students are encouraged to bring along their own cameras - workshops are a great opportunity to practise photographing flowers for portfolios and social media, and to document arrangements taking shape.
