Last week we spent some time in East Sussex visiting Tilton House, Charleston and Berwick Church ahead of our floral design workshop The Bloomsbury Retreat: Arranging the Painter's Garden, which we are hosting here in late June. When we were last here it was autumn - cold and extremely wet - the last of the season's rangy dahlias dripped raindrops and petals between showers. Now the gardens are a bonfire of tulips and apple blossom. Below are a few photographs of our trip, we hope you enjoy the view!
For an interesting read about Tilton and the story of its current owners see here.
If you would like to join us in June in the Sussex countryside to celebrate all things Bloomsbury, we currently have two spots left!
