Join us on Saturday 19th December at Asthall Manor, the childhood home of the Mitford sisters, for an ambrosial morning of festive wreath-making. More information on this beautiful house can be found here.
The class starts at 10am, lasting until around lunchtime. We will first forage from the grounds of the house as a group for fresh elements, then come indoors to create an exquisite, unusual wreath of wild natural ingredients in the glorious candle-lit ballroom.
Warm drinks and mulled wine will be supplied (plied) as well as delicious nibbles, local cheeses and chutneys.
All ingredients will be provided but if you have a beautiful spool of ribbon or other special element that you would particularly like to include, do bring it, along with a pair of secateurs and an apron. We will be gathering ingredients from outdoors and building traditional moss wreath-bases so it can be a little messy, in the best possible way. Stilettos discouraged. You might like to bring Wellingtons, weather depending.
The last tickets are available on our website here. Places are limited; we like to keep our classes small and intimate so that we can give you our undivided attention.
We looking forward to seeing you there!
